Three members of the Halifax County High School varsity football team, Markee Brooks, Lemal Adams and Shaquan Bailey, have been named to the First Team of the All-Western Valley District Football team. They are among 15 Comets players that earned all-district honors.Only those players that earn First Team picks are eligible for All-Northwest Region Team honors.

Barrius Bethel, Markee Brooks, and Thomas Logan have been named to the second team of the All- Western Valley District and Trey Reese, Kendell Adams, Dale Tretn, Dru Henderson, Markee Brooks, Quinton Polk, Donte Hamlett, Terrance Brandon, Kendell Adams, Deandre Crowder, and Tyqaun Boyd named to Honorable Mention teams.
