Comet second baseman Bill Wooding smashed a two-run homer over the fense in right center to tie the game at 2-2. Battlefield came back in the fifth inning. El-bisi from Battlefield High School crack a one-single for his third hit of the game. Lewis,Halifax County High School. then plunked Evans with a pitch, and Battlefield got an RBI single for a 3-2 lead. Chris Wendle followed with RBI double to make it 4-2 and then Turner Meeks followed with a two-run single as Sizemore fell down short. |
