You can't teach 6'11″, and Hammons has nice hands and a good build, but an almost seven-footer should average more than 8.3 points and 7.8 boards per game, even as a sophomore.  We'll never know whether new Carmel coach might have had better luck getting Hammons to play hard and smart.
