Bloomington North Defeated!!

The Lady Cubs JV and V Volleyball team competed at home against Bloomington North Thursday Night.

JV faced their toughest competition this year against Bloomington North and came out on top, winning 25-17, 23-25, 15-11.  Match notables include: Margo Parish with 20 digs, Caroline Rogers with 14 assists, 3 aces, and Caroline Gabehart with 7 kills, and 5 digs.  The JV team is now 8-0.

The Varsity team won their 4th in a row at home beating a scrappy Bloomington North team 23-25, 25-22, 25-16, 25-18.  The team played with a lot of heart and took Bloomington out of their game both offensively and defensively.  Match notables include:  Lauren Verkamp with 13 kills, 10 digs, Jess Admire with 16 kills, 2 aces, Katelyn Kelly with 44 assists, 3 aces, Megan Verkamp with 8 kills, 5 blocks, Tara Parmer with 18 digs, and Sara VanDeman was the MVP and came away with Boris, our mascot tonight adding 8 kills, and 4 blocks.  The Varsity team is now 7-5.
