IHSAA Student-Athlete Tip of the Week (2-11-13)

February 11, 2013
Franklin Community High School

"Promoting education-based athletics in Indiana."

Have you ever wondered, "What's the biggest difference in winning and losing?”  Is it practice, is it skill, is it mental toughness, or is it just luck?

It could be as simple as one word, and that word is "BELIEVING!”

It's believing in yourself.  It's believing in a teammate.  It's believing in a coach.  It's believing in the system.

Factors such as tradition, hard work, off season workouts, and giving the extra effort day in and day out are important; however, if you don't believe you can win, you never will.

The next time the game is on the line, make sure you have done all your homework, and believe you can win.
