Freshmen defeats Plainfield 50-38

The freshman boys basketball team defeated Plainfield last night by the score of 50-38.  Franklin had a well balanced scoring attack by having Justin Beasley with 14 points, Terr'e Moss with 13 points, and Bryce Wentzell with 12 points.  Playing well in the post was Trevor Vancleave and Levi Lusk.  With the win, the team improves to 10-4 on the season and 5-1 in conference.  In the reserve game, Franklin lost 20-13.  Playing well was Jacob Eberg, Preston Groover, Jacob Bayless, Christian Ross, and Jake Hinton.  The Grizzly Cubs will be back in action for their last home game Saturday at 6 pm against Columbus East.
