Freshmen team defeats rival Whiteland 39-37

The Freshman boy's basketball team defeated conference and county rival Whiteland on Friday night by the score of 39-37.  Scoring a game high 18 points and hitting two crucial free throws with 1.9 seconds left was Terr'e Moss.  Assisting Moss in the scoring efforts were Bryce Wentzell with 7 points, while Jarrett Bertsch and Justin Beasley each added 5.  The Grizzly Cubs will be back in action Tuesday as they host Brown County.  With the win, Franklin is 6-4 on the season and 3-1 in the conference.
