IHSAA Student-Athlete Tip of the Week (9-17-12)

September 17, 2012
Franklin Community High School

"Promoting education-based athletics in Indiana."

How are you doing in the classroom during this first grading period?  Are you staying up to date with your homework assignments?  Are you able to balance your time between your sport and your studies?

It's a big commitment to take the time and pride in becoming a quality student-athlete.  The time you spend with homework, practices, games, and other school and family obligations can pull you in many directions.

Know where you stand with your grades at all times.  Don't wait until the last week of the grading period to play catch up, because it might be too late.
