Varsity sweeps conference match v. Decatur Central

The Varsity team won its second conference match of the season in straight
sets defeating Decatur Central 25-14, 25-9, 25-15.  The girls came out
energized and built early leads in all three sets by controlling the tempo
of the game with its passing and consistency at the net.  Match leaders
include:
Katelyn Kelly- 28 assists, 2 aces
Jess Admire- 10 kills
Alli Rice- 6 kills
Andrea Lock- 5 kills, 5 blocks
Morgan Hash- 5 kills, 2 aces
Kylie Whittington- 5 kills
Tara Parmer- 8 digs, 3 assists
The Grizzly Cubs are (6-3, 2-0) in Mid State Conference.
 
The JV team dropped the first set to Decatur, but fought back winning the next two sets. Match leaders include Baleigh Potter- 3 kills; Hannah Hook and Lexi Hash 6 digs each; Aubrey Curry- 9 assists. The JV is 4-1.
 
The Freshman Team defeated Decatur Central last night in 2.  Scores were 25-7, 25-7.  They are 4-1 on the season.  Standouts include:  Megan Hartkorn- 3 Kills, Tana Smythe- 3 Kills and 6 Aces, Sarah Barnard- 7 Assists, Shelby Taylor- 9 Aces.
