Track team finishes strong at IHSAA State meet

The Boys Track and Field team finished their season at the IHSAA State meet at Indiana University on June 2.  FCHS was represented by the 4 x 100 meter relay team of Anthony Scott, James Pfifer, Jake Moran and Brian Murr.  The team was seeded 23rd, yet finished in 20th place with a time of 43.83. 
 
Senior Grant Koenig was selected first team Academic All-State for Boys Track and Field by the Indiana Association of Track and Cross Country coaches.  Seniors Simon Gamboa and Alex Grissom were recognized with honorable mention status.  For the girls team Kylie Kireta, Sandy Lam and Virginia Talley were selected first team Academic All-State.
