Boys Track team finishes 7th overall in IHSAA Regionals

Franklin Community High SchoolThe Franklin Boys track and field team finished 7th out of 52 teams in the IHSAA Regional at Connersville last evening. The 4 x 100 relay team of Anthony Scott, James Pfifer, Jake Moran and Brian Murr finished 3rd. This qualifies them for the IHSAA state track meet on June 2. Huge fourth place finishes were recorded by Chris Percifield in the discus and Reid Abney in the shotput. Also scoring were Anthony Scott with a 6th place finish in the 100 meter dash and James Pfifer with a 7th place finish in the 400 meter dash.
The 4 x 100 meter relay team will compete in the state track meet at Indiana University in Bloomington on June 2nd
