JV wins with walk-off 11-10 v. Martinsville

Wednesday night the Junior Varsity baseball team competed against Martinsville and completed the sweep on another walk-off win 11-10.  A slow start by the Grizzly Cub offense saw the Artesians jump out to a 10-2 lead before a lightning delay seemed to turn the tide for FCHS.  The offense then scored 9 runs in the last 2 innings of the game to win it.  Another balanced offensive attack by the Grizzly Cubs lead to the comeback victory.  Kyle Thompson got the win on the mound.  The JV team is now 7-3 on the year and 6-2 in Mid-State action.  They will next be in action at home Tuesday against Whiteland with a start time of 5:30.
