Varsity wins 5-4 v. Martinsville

The varsity baseball team won 5-4 last evening against Martinsville.  Brett Schultheis threw a complete game to get his second win of the season.  Charles Stewart led the offense with two doubles.  The game was tied going into the bottom of the 7th inning.  With two outs and Mason Clark on third base, Jacob Baldridge hit a ground ball to the shortstop.  The play was mishandled and Mason scored the winning run on the error. 
 
The Cubs will play host to Whiteland on Tuesday May 1 in the next contest.  Game time is 5:30.
