Varsity Girls defeat Mooresville 7-3

The FCHS varsity softball team improved their record to 7-2 overall and 3-0 in conference play, with a 7-3 win over Mooresville Tuesday night.  The Lady Cubs pounded out 17 hits for the game including 4 by Peyton Gross, 3 by Grace Paszek and two each for Makenzie Writt, Morgan Peoni and Olivia Paszek.Olivia Paszek went the distance in the circle for the Cubs, pitching 7 innings and improved her record to 6-1.
