Varsity defeats county rival Edinburgh 4-0

The FCHS softball team defeated county rival and Class A, No. 3 ranked Edinburgh last night 4-0. The Lady Cubs pounded out 11 hits in the game with Blake Thomas having two RBI’s, Lacey Litchfield and Peyton Gross added one RBI each. Olivia Paszek pitched a complete game, 4 hit shutout, striking out 10 Lancers batters. The varsity softball team has a overall record of 6-2 and travels to Clinton Prairie this Saturday for a four game tournament.
