After hearing about a Griffin Grasshopper player going to college in North Dakota with no coat, seven sibblings, mom and dad struggling to provide cold weather clothing for the player headed west, the former University of Georgia Bull Dawg extended a helping hand. McMichael donated $3500 worth of clothing and accessories to the player in need. "That was like a gift from GOD for the family to receive such a major contribution unexpectingly," said Duck Richards, Founder/Director of the Griffin Grasshoppers Youth Association. "It truely was a blessing." "I'm glad to help" said McMichael who is set to start his second season with the Chargers. He has been in the NFL for the past 11 season with Miami Dolphin, St Louis Rams and the San Diego Chargers.
