The depleted Lions dropped their third straight game, falling to Community Christian 37-6 Friday night in FCA's homecoming game. Corin Jones scored the only points of the game for FCA (3-5) with an 8-yard touchdown run in the second half. At one point in the contest, the Lions had freshmen players at quarterback, fullback and tailback. Senior tailback Robert Jackson and eighth-grade tailback Nic Williams were out for Friday's game and sophomore Brandon Ray was used at tailback for the first time this season. "We were down 37-0 at the half but the guys played well enough in the second half to at least put some points on the board," said Lions head coach Nelson Grist. The Lions will have to roll with whomever is left standing next Saturday, as they travel to face the Colonial Hills Rams in ICSGA playoff action next Saturday at 11 a.m.
