Linebacker:  Tony Miller, 6-foot-1, 210 pounds, Gretna (Sr)

Miller capped off an outstanding career at Gretna by leading the Hawks to a state title, and did a little, make that a lot of everything in the process. He started the season at QB, passing for 664 yards on the 33 completions and five TDs. A threat to score every time he touched the ball, he rushed for 949 yards on 140 carries, scoring 18 times. In Gretna's D-2 state title win over Goochland, Miller scored all three of the Hawks touchdowns, but all season long he proved to be just as instrumental on defense.
