Lady Tigers tame Lady Mustangs

Green Ridge beat Northwest 51-39 on Tuesday in a Kaysinger Conference road game. Green Ridge held quarter leads of 12-11, 30-14 and 45-23. The Lady Tigers (10-3, 2-0) were paced by Libby Dove’s 22 points and 12 rebounds. Ragin Dillon chipped in nine points. Clare Chamberlin dealt out four assists, and she and Hali Niceswander each had three steals.

The Green Ridge Lady Tigers pulled away in the second half Tuesday night for a 51-39 Kaysinger Conference win over the Northwest Lady Mustangs at Hughesville.

Green Ridge, coming off a second-place finish in the Otterville Classic, led 12-11 after the first quarter, 30-14 at the half and 45-23 after three quarters.

Green Ridge improved to 10-3 on the season.
