He is currently enrolled in Advanced Physical Education, Spanish II, Advanced Functions and Modeling, and Business and Marketing as his second semester classes. He is also a member of the Future Business Leaders of America Club.
“I think I was chosen for Athlete of the Week because I have good sportsmanship, I’m a team leader, and I try to set a good example for others,” said Belcher.
“Brandon has really stepped up as a veteran leader this year on our team, and this shows in his willingness to take time away from his own workouts to help better the other young men on the team,” said Moore.
“I like track because it’s so competitive,” said Belcher.
In his free time, Belcher likes to play football and basketball with his friends.
“Basketball is my favorite sport because I’ve been playing for so long. I feel like basketball could carry me a long way,” said Belcher.
After graduation, Belcher plans to attend Chowan University to major in Business Administration.
He is the son of Sharon and Linwood Belcher of Snow Hill.
