From Tonawanda High School: Larry Bodie
Larry played in two T-NT games winning his senior year for the Warriors. He was captain of the 1963 undefeated NFL Championship team and was selected to the All Western New York Team. He is known as one of the best interior linemen in Tonawanda’s history. Larry went on and played for the University of Miami on a full scholarship and received an All American Honorable Mention his freshman year. He was also a coach for Canisius College as well as many others.   

 

From North Tonawanda High School: John Chiasera
John played in the T-NT rivalry game his sophomore through senior years. He was named to the 1st Team All Niagara Frontier League as a half-back his junior year and senior year. In 1962, he was named to the 11th Annual Scholastic All American High School Football Squad sponsored by Scholastic Magazine. He is considered by many as the greatest running back in the Niagara Frontier League History. John is also a Vietnam veteran, serving from 1966 to 1968.
