The Wolvarena was the stage for one of the biggest nights in the state of Pennsylvania. Central Catholic was ready to show the state why they are ranked number one. Woodland Hills was ready showcase their talents and great history of football players. 
 

The first quarter sawa both defenses playing with great intensity and courage. Central Catholic was the first to reach the end zone. Woodland Hills, because of a few costly penalties, had a 40-yard touchdown pass called back.
 

In the second quarter, things didn't get any better for the Wolverines. #2 Damien Jones-Moore for Central Catholic punched it into the end zone to make it a 14-0 game. Jones-Moore and kicker Mitchell Maczura made it 17-0 at half.
 

The score at the start of the 4th was 24-7, with the defensive line of Central Catholic controlling the line of scrimmage. The game ends with a final score of 31-13.


Jones-Moore was named the Great American Rivalry Series Most Valuable Player, with three touchdowns. In a post game interview Jones-Moore accredited his offensive line for his successful evening.

 
The Great American Rivalry Series will feature the Wolverines again, in their game against Penn Hills.
