City-Poly or Poly-City, or City-Them or Poly-Them. Depending on who you are and what school you attended, the title of the game can change. 

It was a chilly day at  &T Bank Stadium, home of the Ravens. But the teams were ready and the bands were dancing. The parking lot was full of life, with grills smoking and stereos blasting, more like a Sunday afternoon with the Ravens getting ready to kick off to the Dolphins.

The first half didn't have much offense with the only score coming from #22 Trey James on a quick outside toss. City was trying to make a statement by pounding with the running and making James the featured back. The second quarter was a bit of the same, only this time Poly put 6 on the board to tie the score.

At halftime, while the two teams were in the locker room, the battle of the bands was taking place on the field. For a moment, I almost forgot we were there for a football game!

Tough defense continued in through the third quarter with neither team scoring. It wasn't until late in the fourth quarter that Poly added a touchdown and eventually went on to earn another Great American Rivalry Trophy.

The most valuable player of the game was Brandon Owens #24, who was much deserving of that accolade for his outstanding play.
