Tracey played in the Rivalry game in 1983 as captain of the team that went undefeated and won Manatee's first state title. He went on to play at Florida State as a defensive back. Tracey then played in the NFL for the Buffalo Bills, in the WFL for the Birmingham Fire, and for the Tampa Bay Storm in arena football. Tracey is currently the defensive backs coach for Manatee and has coached here for 13 years. From Southeast High School, the inductee is Peter Warrick. Pete played in the Southeast-Manatee Rivalry 3 years in 1992, '93, and '94. He excelled as a wide receiver and punter and was part of the 1993 team that went undefeated. In 1994, he became quarterback and led Southeast to back-to-back State Championships. He also played basketball and led the Seminoles to an undefeated State Championship, and he won a State Championship in track in the long jump. He attended Florida State University and was part of their 1999 National Championship Team. One of his biggest honors was being named MVP of the 2000 Sugar Bowl. He was then drafted as the 4th pick in the NFL draft by the Cincinnati Bengals. He played 7 years in the NFL and ended his career with a trip to the Super Bowl with the Seattle Seahawks in 2005. Peter became part of the Southeast coaching staff in 2005.
