Xavier Adibi was a four-year letterman and starter for the Phoebus varsity football team, playing linebacker, full-back and defensive end all four years. He was on the first and second State Championship teams and, during his senior year, was invited to play in the Army’s All-American Bowl. Xavier continued his football career playing linebacker at Virginia Tech, where he was drafted by the NFL and now plays and starts for the Houston Texans. Phoebus High School is extremely proud of their alumni Xavier Adibi. Xavier’s father accepted the award on his behalf.

As captain of the 1992 team, Myron led his team to a 28-12 victory over the Phantoms with 176 yards rushing, 14 tackles, and a dramatic third quarter 59-yard touchdown off a shovel pass from John Logerman. Myron went on to play in the VHSL All-Star Game that year, where he was recognized as the game MVP. Following his years at Hampton, Myron played linebacker at Virginia Tech under Bud Foster then played professional football for the Carolina Panthers and in Europe and Canada. Currently, Myron is an assistant coach and study hall coordinator at Hampton High.
