Home » Hall of Fame News2012 Hall of Fame: Delano Howell and John "JJ" DiLuigi IIINovember 3, 2012 Great American Rivalry SeriesFrom Hart High School- Delano Howell: Delano was a three year varsity starter from 2005-2008 at Hart High School. He broke several rushing records and had one game where he had 6 touchdowns. He was an excellent student, taking honor and AP classes all four years at Hart. After graduating from Hart he went to Stanford University where he was a 3 year starter at the strong-safety position and was a part of four incredible winning years at Stanford. This summer he was part of the ten undrafted free agent signees in the NFL where he currently plays for the Buffalo Bills. From Canyon High School- John "JJ" DiLuigi III: John played in the Hart-Canyon during his senior year at Canyon High School. As captain of the 2006 team, JJ rushed 187 yards and had 4 touchdowns in a 41-25 victory over Hart at college of the canyons. He and his team mates went on to beat Moorpark in the CIF-Southern Section Northern Division Championship. JJ helped lead his team to victory over the heralded De La Salle High School in the California State Division I Championship Game, JJ went on to further his playing days at Brigham Young University as running back where he led the team in rushing yards during his senior season as well. His all purpose yards ranks number 16 all time at BYU. JJ was a Doak Walker Award candidate and was All Mountain West Conference during his Junior year and FBS All-Independent Team Honorable Mention as a Senior. JJ now resides in Utah and is currently training to be a firefighter.
