Home » Hall of Fame News2012 Hall of Fame: Danny Carpenter and Justin BrownNovember 3, 2012 Great American Rivalry SeriesFrom Northside High School- Danny Carpenter: Danny played offensive line for Northside from 1967 to 1969. During his tenure Northside won 2 out of 3 of the rivalry games. In 1969 Mr. Carpenter was named to the All- State Team. He later accepted a scholarship to play at the University of Georgia. Danny Carpenter also served as head coach at Northside from 1982 – 1985. Later Mr. Carpenter retired as superintendent of Houston Co. Schools. From Warner Robins High School- Justin Brown: Justin played in the Warner Robins-Northside rivalry in his sophomore, junior, and senior season. He was a 3 year starter at defensive tackle and a captain of the 2004 Demon squad. As a senior, he led the Demons to an undefeated season, a 10-3 victory over Northside, and AAAA state championship. After graduation he attended Furman University on a football scholarship where he was a 4-letterman and All-American. After graduating Furman, he coached at Presbyterian College for one year, and is currently an assistant coach at Mercer University.
