Home » Awards News2012 Scholar Athletes: Brett Tenhoff and Zachary CodyOctober 27, 2012 Great American Rivalry SeriesFrom Mission Viejo High School- Brett Tenhoff: Brett is a 3 year letterman on the varsity football team as a quarterback. He is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and also is an active member of the Safe Prides, an organization to help prevent drinking and driving. Brett has maintained a 43.31 GPA throughout his High School career and has been invited to attend the National Youth Leadership Forum in Washington D.C. this upcoming spring. He hopes to attend an Ivy League school and pursue a degree in biomedical sciences. From Trabuco Hills High School- Zachary Cody: Zachary is a 2-time 1st team All South Coast League and CA Southern Section selection. He is a 2-time Lineman of the Year and the Scholar Athlete of the Year. He was also awarded the Coaches Award. He is a 2-year Character Counts Captain. Academically he is on the Principal's Honor Roll, a 2-year National Honor Society member, 4-year California Scholastic Federation member. He received the Leadership Award in the RSM/Coto de Caza Rotary Club as well as in the NFL-Wharton School of Business. He plans to attend college at an academically focused University, achieve a Bachelor's Degree and consider an advanced degree in the future. He plans on majoring in engineering.
