The Cathedral Catholic Dons and the St. Augustine Saints met for the 47th annual "Holy Bowl" in San Diego, California. The game started as a defensive battle before St. Augustine got on the scoreboard first. Elijah Preston ran for a 40-yard touchdown to put the Saints up 7-0 after the 1st quarter of play. The Dons were unable to answer and Preston ran one in from 4 yards out to put the Saints up 14-0. Late in the half, the Dons finally managed to score after quarterback Garrett Bogart connected with Theo Hardson for a 28-yard touchdown pass. The Dons went into the locker room losing 14-7.

The Dons came out fired up in the 2nd half and scored early on. Tony Johnson scored on a 78-yard run to tie the game up at 14. Later in the 3rd with the Saints driving in the redzone, Parker Price intercepted a pass and took it all the way for a 96-yard touchdown for the Dons. The Dons now led 21-14 late in the 3rd. On the ensuing Saints possession, the Dons intercepted another pass. The Dons capitalized on the Saints turnover when Bogart hooked up with Chris Moliga for a 22-yard touchdown. Heading into the 4th quarter the Dons led 28-14. The Saints tried valiantly to recover and catch up with the Dons, but it was too little too late. Saints quarterback Calayton Dale threw a 11-yard touchdown pass to Logan Ceja with under a minute left in the game. The game ended and the Dons notched a 28-20 victory over the Saints to win the "Holy Bowl"

Cathedral Catholic's Parker Price was named the MVP for his 96-yard interception return for a touchdown
