William (Boogie) Henderson played four years of varsity football with Thomas Dale, 1986-1989, including four rivalry games with LC Bird. He scored a touchdown in 1998 and made numerous tackles from his linebacker position during those years. He earned a grant-in-aide from UNC at Chapel Hill, playing fullback for the Tarheels for four years after being redshirted his first year because of a knee injury.
