The first inductee from Alcoa High School is George Parker. George was part of the Alcoa-Maryville rivalry for three seasons, between 1977 and 1979. George was the starting tailback in the 1979 rivalry game against Maryville where he rushed and threw for a touchdown. With all of his accomplishments, George became a member of the Blount County Hall of Fame in 2007 and had his #22 jersey retired by Alcoa. After spending 23 years with the Alcoa Police Department, George decided to return to Alcoa High School where he holds the position of resource officer.

Mike Casteel from Maryville High was the starting tight end and defensive back in the Maryville-Alcoa rivalry from 1976 to 1978. While at Maryville Mike won two state championships and was one win short of a three-peat as they were the runner-up in 1977. As captain of the 1978 squad, Mike led his team to a 21-14 victory over Alcoa, an undefeated season, and the Tennessee 2A state championship. Mike went on to play football at the University of Tennessee where he lettered in 1980, '81, and '82. Mike is now the principal at Maryville High School.
