Lady Cards overcome poor start, defeat Scott High

The Lady Cards overcame a dreadful first half and defeated Region 10 Scott High 49-39 on Jan. 29. Down 18-12 at half, the Cards surged back in the third and outscored the Eagles 37-21 in the second half led by senior Shamy Williams who led the team with 12 points and junior Brittani Gay who had 9.

The win moved the Lady Cards to 14-6 and 8-0 in Region 10 play, making Clark the only team with an undefeated record against tenth region opponents. Clark's next game is tonight at home against 11-10 Harrison Co. at 7:30 PM.
