Cards advance to Toyota Classic championship

The Cards beat Christian County 71-57 today in the Scott County Toyota Classic and will play Louisville Western at 9 p.m. for the championship. Robbie Stenzel was named Player of the Game after scoring 29 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. The Cards are playing today without Vinny Zollo, who will be out 7-10 days with a sprained ankle that was injured early in Friday's game.

In Game 1 Friday, the Cards rolled over Covington Catholic 73-46. Robbie Stenzel had 19 points, Corey Rogers, 17, Jaylen Daniel, 15, and Travis Purvis, 10. The Cards have won seven straight games and are 16-4 on the season.
