Graham's goalkeeper Jesus Benitez recorded five saves for the Red Devils (13-3-2). Carrboro (15-5-2), also a member of the Mid-State 2A, advanced to play Washington in next week's third round.
The Red Devils had numerous chances to equalize the game. Eric Fuentes clanged one off the to crossbar with approximately seven minutes remaining. The Red Devils scratched and clawed their way into the Jaguar secondary all evening long. In the end, they were cruelly denied a trip to the third round.
