JV's Play For Championship

By Denis Vass of Graham High SchoolThe JV Boys team edged Person County last night 59-54 in overtime to reach the championship game in the Eastern Alamance JV Tournament. They will try to improve over last year's third place finish. They play host Eastern Alamance to night at 6:00.
With the win yesterday, the JV Boys improved to 9-0. Coach Kyle Ward is doing good things with the team this season and let's hope 2013 begins with a victory!
The JV's last won the tournament in the 2009-2010 season.
