Grimsley Girls Tennis Advances In Duel Team Competition

     Grimsley Girls Tennis defeated West Mecklenburg High School Oct 16th to move on to the next round of duel team playoffs. The team took care of business in quick style winning all 6 singles and not having to compete in doubles. 

    Next they are off on Tuesday October 23 to face Northwest HS that squeeked by a vistory against Providense High School.  Grimsley has beaten Northwest twice this season previously. The match next Tuesday is at 4 pm at Northwest. Please come out and support our winning tennis team on their quest for another state title.

    Those on the playing team for duel teams are Majdou Lavoie, Alex Silver, Mari Fujino, Carolina Chao, Astrid Pascua, Rachel Cox, and Julia Hamrick!  Substitutes ready to step in if needed include Madison Farrior, Mary Hamrick, Svea Lowhagen,  Lauren Parko and D"Andria Alston-Thomas.
