It is that time again folks!

As many of you are aware there are many wonderful changes going on at GHS regarding our facilities and with that in mind, it is going to take a team effort to get our campus ready for school to start.  Each year for the last 7 years our athletic teams as part of their community service band together and start our community service at our own house by having a fall campus clean-up.

Our annual clean-up is scheduled for August 18, 2012 from 8 -12.  Generally, everyone takes part and all is invited.  There is much work to do.  If you are handy with any yard tool, please join us.  We generally have about 200 athletes and we follow a general plan with specific team assignments.  (see attachment)  In addition to the athletes, the booster clubs, PTSA, clubs and staff, along with friends, community partners and others join in to help.  Please share this e-mail, recruit a few extra hands and let’s get GHS looking great for the start of school.  We are a very special school community and a dedicated group of folks who love Grimsley High School, so join us for some work, fun and fellowship while giving back to this wonderful school.
