Interest meeting

Yes, come one come all, it is that time of year again.  Cross country is fast approaching (didn’t we only just finish track) and we need to get the information disseminated to all of you.

1. The interest meeting for the 2012 campaign of Grimsley Whirlie Cross Country will be Tuesday, May 29^th.  It will be a drop-in from 4:15 to 5:15 pm in Profe’s room (Coach Dickerson for the uninitiated) in Vocation Room 868.  As it has been in the last few years, veterans will likely just be dropping in to pick up the summer workout schedules and new people will have two coaches on hand to meet with so that we can put your mind at ease.  Hope to see you there.
2. PHYSICALS PHYSICALS PHYSICALS PHYSICALS!  I could write it myself but why re-invent the wheel:   "The Grimsley Athletic Department in cooperation with Greensboro Orthopedics will offer annual physical exams on June 4th starting at 5:30 at the Greensboro Orthopedics office located in Friendly shopping center.  A bus will be provided to transport students to and from Greensboro Orthopedics and will leave Grimsley at 5:15.  The bus will shuttle students back and forth as needed.  Please make sure you have the $10.00 fee, permission form, and physical form.  These forms are available at Greensboro Orthopedics , our athletic office and the main school office.  The new forms are purple in color and will be available to down load soon from this site.  The physicals are good for one year and is open to all incoming freshman from our feeder schools."

Please consider getting the physical done during this date.  It is good for the entire year, it only costs $10, and ALL monies made on the physicals are returned to the school and put in the coffers of the athletic department.  Plus, you don’t have to worry about missing practice to get your physical because this year I feel like making that count as a cut.
