Update -9/21

Over the weekend the lady tigers played in the NCMC Tournament in Trenton, MO. Their first game was against the Trenton Bulldogs. The lady tigers played a very solid game agaist a very talented trenton team. The Lady Tigers held the Bulldogs to only 4 runs, but came up short. Some highlights from this game was Skyler Alderton who was 2 for 2 with a double. The 2nd game was against Stewartsville. The lady tigers came out ready to win and beat Stewartsville 9-0 in 4 innings to move on to the 3rd place game. Some highlights from this game was Kelly Lister was the winning pitcher only allowing 1 hit with 7 strikeouts, she was also 1 for 3 at bat with a double and scored 3 of the 9 runs for the Lady Tigers. Skyler Alderton was the big hitter in this game going 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles and scoring 1 run. Elizabeth Duzan reached base at all 3 at bats by errors but also scored 3 of the 9 runs for the tigers. The last game of the day was against Bevier. Megan Creek pitched this game and only allowed 2 earned runs. The Lady Tigers commited 3 errors in the 5th and allowed 3 runs and ended up losing 4-0. Katie Howard went 1 for 2 with a single. The Lady Tigers brought home 4th place in a very strong tournament. They are now 6-7 overall. Coming up this week we face Brookfield on Monday 9/21 at brookfield, Milan home on Tuesday 9/22 and Putnam home on Thursday 9/24. Then on Saturday we head to Schuyler County for a tournament and start off against Milan at 10:20am. Come out and support your Lady Tigers. |
