SC Vs. Cole Camp Preview

The Tigers face a tough opponent this Saturday in the Cole Camp Blue Birds. The Blue Birds bring a 1-1 mark into the contest, while SC comes in at 2-1. The Blue Birds attack is lead by Jr. running back Tyler Harris. Harris, a 6' 2" back is their feature back and Strong Safety. "If we are going to win this game, we must stop Harris," states Head Football Coach Brent Bondurant. "We cannot let him get outside of our containment." Last year Cole Camp defeated the Tigers 42-7 at Tiger Field.
On the other side of the ball, the Blue Birds must stop our balanced running attack. Sabe Sears, Rod Sears, Kyle Shelley, and Cody Taft all have carried the ball between 27 and 33 times respectively. Each back has their own unique style. "Teams cannot focus on any one of these guys. All of them are capable of breaking the big play."
With a long bus ride ahead of them, and a 2 PM start, the Tigers will find out a little bit more about themselves on Saturday. |
