SC vs. Highland Cougars Preview

SC takes the field tonight at Highland in non-conference action. The Tigers lead the all time series between the two schools 10-1; with last year being the first time the Tigers lost to Highland. Highland features Junior Quarterback Dallas Job as their team leader and play-maker. The Cougars like to spread the field and give Job running opportunities, "We must contain him if we want to win this fooball game," states Head Coach Brent Bondurant. "I feel confident that our offense can get the show started methodically moving the ball down the field with hard running, and a mixture of play action passes. I am concerned about stopping Job." Highland brings an 0-2 record into the contest, while SC is at 1-1.
The injury report finds Junior Logan Brassfield (OG/LB) out with a sore shoulder and Sophomore Strong Safety Brock Bondurant out with a nagging thigh contusion. |
