The first quarter set the tone for the Lady Raiders scoring 30 points in a blaze against an overwhelmed Hanceville Lady Bulldogs squad that could only muster up 11 points.
The highlight of the contest was Kayla Tillman reaching the 2000 point milestone for her career. Coming into the contest Tillman needed 14 points to reach that mark and got just that.
Coach Oldacre elected to play everybody in the contest with the starting resting most of the night.
Taylor Hollingsworth led Hanceville with 15 points.
Good Hope will play Danville in the AHSAA 3A Area 13 Championship this Saturday at 6:30 pm. Come on out and support these young ladies!
Win or lose the Lady Raiders will play in the Sub-State game next week. The winner of the area will host the runner up of Area 14 while the runner up will travel to the winner of the same.

The 6 pm game saw Danville out last Vinemont 51-38 in the first Semi. The game was really a lot closer that the score seems.
Vinemont used some very fiesty defense and superb three point shooting to stay in the game.
