Cordova??? ...check

The Lady Radiers travelled to Hayden for their annual holiday tourney which began play on Thursday. Their first round opponent would be a fellow class 3A team from Cordova. 

The Lady Raiders would get off to a very fast start in this one in which the opening tip went right to Cara Goodwin who threaded a pass to a cutting Kayla Tillman who layed it in just 3 seconds into the game. This would foreshadow the rest of the contest as the Lady Raiders would roll to a 20-4 advantage at the end of the 1st period of play. The Final score read 55-29, but the game wasn't that close. The game included a running clock for the entire 4th period. Kayla Tillman led the way with a game high 23 points. 

The ladies were sharp in this one, but will have to be even sharper tonight as they take on Homewood at 7pm in semi-final action. Come out to support these girls who took down the tourney title last year. Admission is just $5
