The Good Hope Lady Raiders came out firing on all cylinders in the first quarter of last night's area contest against the Danville Lady Hawks scoring 24 points while holding their opponent to just 10.

Kayla Tillman found the hoop in the contest scoring six treys and scoring 25 points to lead all scorers!

Savannah Fendley added 10 points from the post and Darcie Wilson chipped in 8 including two treys.

Alannah Henke had 6 points in the effort while Cara Goodwin and Kayla Scott added 5 each.

Defense was the name of the game as both teams pressed quite a bit in the game.  The Lady Raiders press out lasted the Lady Hawks version and allowed Good Hope to find plenty of fast break points.

Danville was led by Sydni Shelton with 14 points.

The fouls were very lopsided in the game with Danville shooting 18 free throws compared to Good Hope's 7.

Out of all the game we have seen so far, this was the first in which the Good Hope Lady Raiders played as a true TEAM!  It's fun to watch them play!

Come out and support the Good Hope Lady Raiders Monday at Holly Pond and Tuesday at Hayden.
