It's such a pleasure to watch the young ladies at Good Hope High School compete on the field!  The Good Hope Lady Raiders are a force to be reckoned with, without question!

Softball won the North Region and earned a berth in the AHSAA State Championship tournament.

These results would not be possible without quality talent in the lineup!

Raider Sports Network has said for years that Cara Goodwin belongs in a major division one school.  Coach Harris feels the same was as he was quoted with regards to her 4A Pitcher of the Year Award.  He said "she should be in the same discussion", referring to the Jackie Trainas and the like.

She is just that good and has one more year to amaze fans and college coaches!

The post season honors are piling up and Goodwin just received news that the National Fastpitch Coaches have chosen her as the South Region First Team Pitcher!  She is in the running for All-American First Team and that will be released Tuesday!
