Upper Marlboro, MD -- iHigh.com, the Global Youth Network, and Good Counsel High School have announced that they will broadcast live video from the 2011 Special Olympics of Maryland Summer Games.

iHigh.com is the official video streaming partner for the event, which will be held Friday, June 10th through Sunday, June 12th at Towson University's Show Place Arena in Upper Marlboro, Maryland.

Over 1400 Special Olympics athletes are scheduled to participate in the Games, with competition in six sports:

Aquatics - 25 individual events, 16 team relay events

Athletics - Traditional and Unified track, turbo jav, high jump, long jump, softball throw, shot put

Bocce - Singles, doubles, Unified doubles, 4-person team competition, Unified team competition

Cheerleading - Traditional and Unified team competition

Equestrian - 72 Classes offered in Western and English (competition date: Saturday June 4, 2011)

Softball - Traditional team competition, Unified team competition, Individual Skills Competition
