Attention students: Anyone interested in traveling to London, Paris, Venice and Rome during the summer of 2014, please attend an informational meeting Thursday, December 13th at 4:00 in Mrs. Foree's room. Parents are encouraged to attend.

It's time for the annual LHS READ WRITE WIN Contest! Have you read a book this year? Come in to the library and write a brief review of the book. For every review you write, your name goes in to a drawing. What are the prizes? Gift cards galore! Enter today!

ACT Prep materials are available in the Library. Please see Mrs. Kintz for more details.

Come be part of a fun, strong, tradition of LHS.  Come compete at speech, theatre, and debate tournaments!  If you are interested and want to learn more come to our piece pickin parties on December 12th at 7:30.  If these times/dates don't work then come see Miss Yung.

Organizations

There will be a Thespian meeting today during advisory at 3:15.

NHS meeting Wednesday, December 12th @ 7:30 a.m. in Mrs. Himbury's room. Be there to discuss Food Pantry Service Project.

• Varsity Girls Basketball at the Husker Classic at 6:00 pm in the West gym. Bus leaves at 5:00 pm.
• Varsity Boys Basketball at the Husker Classic at 7:30 pm in the East gym.  Bus leaves at 6:30 pm.

There are very few additional Pink Game shirts that have been ordered.  See Mrs. Pulverenti if you would still like one.

Counselor’s Corner
The ACT is this Saturday, December 8. Students need to report at 7:45 a.m. Students must bring their admission ticket and ID in order to take the test.

Seniors, the MSBA Belcher Scholarship is due to Mrs. Nevels Tuesday, December 11.

All 2nd semester schedule changes need to be finished before the end of 1st semester.a
