Friday, August 31 Announcements

Got spirit, enthusiasm, and some killer moves?  If so, you could be the next Monty.  If you are interested in being the mascot for the 2012-2013 school year, please sign up in Career Center.  We will be conducting tryouts/interviews next week. 

Organizations

Student Council meetings Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7:20AM in Mr. Caldwell's room.

The LHS musical is DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS.  Auditions will be on September 5th and 6th in the music room from 6:30 to 9:30PM.  Audition packets are available from Miss Yung or Mr. Ray.  Auditions are open to anyone at LHS!

Sports

Tennis practice is cancelled for tonight.

V Football @ Trenton at 7 PM. tonight.  Bus leaves at 3:15 PM. Pep bus leaves at  4:45 PM.

Saturday, V Tennis at Boonville has been cancelled and rescheduled for Wednesday, September 5 at 1PM, bus leaves at 11:00 AM.

Scholarships:
Seniors who have at least a B grade average and participate in at least one sport can apply online for a scholarship. Go to WendysHeisman.com or see Mrs. Nevels for more information. Deadline is October 2.
