• Relay for Life Concession Stand from 7:00 pm on Friday, June 8 to 7:00 am on Saturday, June 9.
• Community Center Blood Drive on Tuesday, June 12 from 2:00-6:00 pm.

Lunch menu change – Tuesday will be Chicken Patty Day.  Wednesday will be grilled hot dogs and hamburgers.

The Lexington High School Activities Department is seeking applications for the Minutemen Ambassador program for the 2012-2013 school year.  You must be a sophomore, junior, or senior next year to apply.  Members of this organization will assist the activities director and principal during home games throughout the school year and represent Lexington High School at special events involving the activities department.  If you are interested in participating in this program next year pick up an application from the Career Center and turn it in to Mrs. Pulverenti by Friday, May 18th.

All speech and theatre competitors please turn in black binders and copies of your piece cuttings if you have not done so.

The Cappies Gala is on May 26th at 2 pm (this is a change in time).  Rehearsal schedules for those performing that day will be available this week.

Tickets are available from Miss Yung.  Nominees tickets are $5, all others are $8 in advance and $10 at the door.

The Thespian Banquet is on Tuesday May 15th at 6:30 in the high school cafeteria.  All current and former Thespians are invited.  Those that have earned enough points to become a new Thespian will be invited to become inducted into the organization.  Awards for best actor, best musical actress, etc. will be given out and officers will be elected.  Invitations and voting ballots will be available no later than WEDNESDAY by the end of school.  

Thespian Banquet:  If you are eligible to become a Thespian this year make sure you get your paperwork to Miss Yung by Tuesday.

The Thespian New York trip has been rescheduled for June 2013.  If you are interested please sign up outside Ms. Yung’s room.

On Monday, May 14 Senior Orientation for the Class of 2013 will be held in the cafeteria at 6:00 p.m.

FCA will meet after school to make cookies tomorrow evening and host the reception for seniors and their guests after Baccalaureate on Wed. There will not be a Friday morning meeting.

SPORTS:

• Congratulations to Michael Heath for qualifying for the state track meet in the 110 and 300 hurdles.  He will compete Friday and Saturday at Lincoln University in Jeff City.
• Mandatory cheer practice on May 16^th and 17^th.
• The following boys’ basketball players owe items to Coach Meyer: Michael Sunday and Jevon Williams.
• The following wrestlers need to turn in singlets or owe money to Coach Wilkson: Cameron Lee, Gavin Rice, and Tyler Tancos.
• The following golfers need to turn in uniforms and equipment to the Career Center: Andy Morgan, Jonathon Ratliff, Angel Wansing, Brandon Nordsieck, Austin Wilson, Gage Johnson, Trevor Shroyer, and Travis Shroyer.
• Tennis uniforms turn in by Wednesday to Coach Wolken.
• Congratulations to Client Fergason and Keenan Weber for placing 4th at districts.
• Track uniforms need to be turned into Coach Caldwell by today.
• Football pad check out will be right after school on Wednesday for incoming 9-12 graders.
