Behind a career high 22 points from junior Kiarra Harris, the SHS Girls’ Basketball team rolled to a 72-25 win at Streator Thursday.
Harris was a perfect 10-10 from the field and 2-2 from the free throw line. Teammate Katelyn Bauer was 5-7 from the field in scoring 13 points. McKenna Pearson scored nine and Bailey Oetting eight to help the Warrior cause.
SHS is now 16-12 overall and 8-1 in the NIB-12 West.
Next Up: The Golden Warriors have two regular season games left, both at home. SHS hosts Peoria Manuel in a non-conference game Saturday afternoon. Then LaSalle-Peru comes to town Thursday evening. A win over LP would give the Golden Warriors at least a share of the NIB-12 West title.
